October Project Parade - Day 5

Welcome to day five of the October Project Parade. I hope you're finding lots of inspiration to do some embossing of your own, whether it be wet (heat) or dry embosssing. Today I have a heat embossing example for you. I wanted to used some of the great Verve stamps as embossed silhouettes on patterned paper. So I settled on Cupcake Affair in silver embossing. I found it easiest to match up the top and bottoms of the cupcakes by stamping all of bottoms in Versamark, embossing, then repeating with the cupcake tops.

The sentiment, on layered Cuttlebug flower dies, is from Thoughtful Florals.

Now it's your turn! Use those Cuttlebug folders, pull out a brass stencil, or heat up those embossing powders. We want to see your embossed creations! Upload your creation to the original challenge post by noon on Friday, October 24th. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword VVPP07 so we don't miss your creations! A random participant will be drawn on October 25th to receive $15 in Verve Bucks to spend at the Verve Stamps store!
