Seeing Stars

Yesterday, Jen said in her post that the Starlight Starbright set fills a large void, and I couldn't agree more. Stars are wonderful symbols for things like achievements, holidays, wishes and dreams -- and there are far too few rubber stamps out there that celebrate stars.

For today's card I happened to find my actual stars by way of the patterned paper & star cut-outs, so the sentiment from the set played perfectly into the layout. For a fun little twist, I let the smaller scalloped oval be framed by the larger non-scalloped oval.

Supply List:
Stamps: Starlight Starbright (Verve Visual)
Paper:
Cowboy Collection (Crate Paper), Star Kissed Star Mile (Daisy Bucket)
Ink:
Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink (ClearSnap), VersaFine Vintage Sepia (Tsukineko)
Accessories:
Extra Jumbo Scalloped Oval Punch & Super Jumbo Oval Punch (Marvy Uchida); Grograin w/ Satin Center Ribbon (May Arts)

When you visit the Verve Store to purchase your stamps, don't miss those fun new patterned papers! They're yummy 4-design packs from the Delicious Desserts collection called Chocolate and Berry. And for your chance to win Verve stamps, hurry on over to Jen's blog where she'll be doing a drawing on Friday morning for two fabulous sets!

Happy Stamping!
