Sneak Preview - Hundred Hearts

How have you enjoyed the previews of the newest releases these past few days? Hopefully you're as excited about the release on Friday as I am! Today you get to see Hundred Hearts! Enjoy!

I just LOVE the different hearts in this set and the awesome sentiments! I love how they're not only perfect for your significant other, but for a friend or even a child. I cannot help but sing the song when I read this sentiment. Does it make you sing?

from Verve Diva Laurie Schmidlin:

There is something so irresistible about these hearts...I absolutely ADORE them!!! And just wait until you see all of the awesome sentiments!! I have long been a fan of Verve's unique sentiments and fonts...and this set is just another reason why! :-)

from Verve Diva Michelle Woerner:

When I first sat down with this set, I realized they were all cute and fun little things I would love to say to my hubby! I pack his lunch for him every night, and thought I would make a set of Lunchbox Love Notes! They measure 3x3 and I wanted to keep them light, cute and fun. I dug into my old Brenda Waltin Shapes and Tags tin and found some odds and ends that help me make these. Two of the cards use sentiments as the main focus and the other two use the heart images. They all use brown and pink colors with a combination of primas, dew drops, bling and ribbon. I can't wait for February 10th to start packing these in with his sandwich!

from fabulous Guest Diva Stephanie Kraft:
Whenever Julee releases new Verve sets, I always get so excited to see the sneak peeks! So, you can imagine just how thrilled I was when she and Shannan asked me to be a Guest Diva for January! It is truly an honor to be able to show you a card using the final Verve set being previewed this week. Hundred Hearts is such a beautiful set! Besides the adorable hearts, the set is full of beautiful sentiments written in both classy and whimsical fonts. I was first drawn to the heart border and chose to stamp it on Kraft cardstock in white ink and use it as my "designer paper". I chose a bold pink, white and Kraft color combination with some bling as a final touch.

So, what do you think of Hundred Hearts? This awesome set could be coming home to you! Just leave us a comment with the answer to the following question (see below) by Friday, January 9th at Noon (Mountain Time) and you could be the lucky winner! For even more Verve excitement, check out the Lookin' For Love Release Party Challenge on our SCS Forum. Winners will be announced at our release party on Friday night (it starts at 8 PM EST in the Verve Forum on SCS--mark your calendar NOW)!
Here's your question that goes along with the "Looking For Love" theme: Which amusement park ride would best describe how you felt during your first kiss?

First kiss with my boyfriend (now hubby) was like the Demon Drop (at CedarPoint). Although it was actually a very sweet kiss but that's how my stomach felt! Love the sneak peek and all the awesome samples to go with it!!

  3. The Scrambler... it twisted me all up and made my head spin! Marilyn

    ReplyDelete
  4. That would be the rollercoaster! An emotional ride!!

    Fantastic cards!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. In my case...the Tilt-a-Whirl. Made me dizzy and took my breath away. I love both the new hearts sets. Can't wait to see the sets. Your Divas are doing a beautiful job! Lots of things to CASE.

  6. Rollercoaster... my stomach seemed to drop and I had a million butterflies as he leaned in.

Congrats on the guest designer opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I see the popular answer is roller coaster and that is mine too!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh, it would be the double ferris wheel. You have all the anticipation as you go up and then when you reach the top...the conductor stops it so you can remain up there for a while to enjoy the landscape. The anticipation was soooo great for my first kiss (from my now husband of 23 yrs.) that after we kissed I stayed up there for a long time enjoying the feelings.

Thanks for the wonderful sneak peaks...it has been fun to see all the beautiful creations.

  9. I'm going with my first thought, the Tilt-a-Whirl. It makes your stomach drop and feel disoriented. LOL! After 31 and a half years of marriage he can still make me feel disoriented! Thanks for the chance to win. I love the hearts set!

  10. Roller coaster for me.
The first time my Dh kissed me , I was so nervous, my stomach had butterflies.
even to day , he can still do the same ,lol.

I love the hearts, especially the heart border.

  11. Wonderful cards today. First Kiss? That was so long ago I don't remember. I'm gonna bet I was really really young and I thought yuck. Now I can remember my first kiss with my husband. Ohh La La! Melissa

    ReplyDelete
  12. I will have to go with roller coaster too. :-) Love all the previews!

    ReplyDelete
  13. My first kiss with my hubby reminded me of riding throught the tunnel of love...being all safe and cozy in his arms and that is still where I am today!

    ReplyDelete
  14. My favourite ride is The Wild Artic at Seaworld. As I don't like rollercoaters of any sort I take the flat stationary ride. A first kiss I remember was like that ride, flat, cold and wet from someone who could be described as a big bear, all arms and dopey haha. I perhaps don't have to say it was a first and last kiss with him. After this thought, is that ride still by favourite ?

    ReplyDelete
  15. First kiss? Apparently my first kiss must have been like a kiddie ride because I don't even remember it! I don't even remember with whom I shared it!

I just discovered Verve Stamps yesterday and I am in love! I can't wait to buy some!

    ReplyDelete
  16. My first kiss was so long ago, I don't remember mush about it other than I thought YUCK! My first kiss with my husband though, now that I remember. It was the anticipation of going up on the roller coaster and then the butterflies as you reach the top of the hill and the thrill of the ride down.

    ReplyDelete
  17. My first kiss with my husband could be compared to a roller coaster. My heart was beating quickly with the anticipation just like when you get buckled in your seat and the coaster starts its ascent. Then the thrill begins! -- Amy

    ReplyDelete
  18. Woohoo! Tomorrow! I can't wait!

My first kiss with my husband was probably something like The Batman at 6 Flags! It definitely made my heart race! I knew it had to be love! :D

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Scrambler-and after all these years I still feel that way! These sneak peaks are awsome!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I guess I would have to say a roller coaster because it almost made me throw up it was THAT bad. The guys was literally drooling at the mouth. Sorry for that visual. My first kiss is something I've tried to forget...the only reason to conger up the memory is for free stamps. Boy, I'll do ANYTHING for stamps:)

    ReplyDelete
  21. My first kiss made me feel like I do when I ride the Tilt-a-whirl ride. What a great stamp set to win.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My first kiss was like a roller coaster, just the way my stomach dropped!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I have to go with Roller coaster too!!!

Thanks for the chance to win

    ReplyDelete
  24. What a fun question! Space Mountain--is my answer and I'm sticking too it! Let me just say it was wild and crazy! darlene

    ReplyDelete
  25. Beautiful cards, ladies!!! I'd have to say my first kiss was like one of those water rides with the big drop. My stomach was in knots and it was all wet.

    ReplyDelete
  26. My very first kiss??? Bumper cars! LOL! Lovin' the heart sets.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh! These are GORGEOUS! I CANNOT wait to get this set!! Woo Hoo!
My first kiss...probably the Great American Scream Machine...lol!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Definitely the roller coaster.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new set. How gorgeous! I tip my hat to the designer.

    ReplyDelete
  29. my first kiss was probably a water ride - ewwww -not so great. my first kiss with my husband - hmmm - like cotton candy, so sweet. (the second kiss with him was much more dramatic and passionate, rollercoaster-like, but he won me over with the first sweet one!)

the heart set looks GREAT - a good mix of heart styles... time fore some Valentines! thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'd have to go with a rollercoaster...major anticipation, but it had its ups and downs ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. My first kiss with my husband was like the ferris wheel that your stomache sinks and then settles. This set is beautiful and so are the samples!

    ReplyDelete
  32. My first kiss with my DH of now 15 years, was very emotional....I would have to say the roller coaster as well...My head and blood was rushing, and my stomach was doing flip-flops like crazy! And he can STILL make it do flip-flops today!

Thanks for all the wonderful previews - can't WAIT to order!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love this new set -- Winnie the Pooh is so wise and I love seeing his words on your stamp! I would have to say that my first kiss would be one of my favorite kid Disney rides: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! He was not a toad by any means - but was definitely my Prince! And it was one sweet twist and turn after another! 26 years later it still is! :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. My very first kiss was like The Mine at Dollywood - a very long wait and anticipation but left me disappointed and with a headache!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I would have to go with a roller coaster, too. I was so nervous and my heart was in my throat.
I love this new set! The samples are to die for! Such talented ladies! Thanks for the chance to win.

  36. I was such a little flirt and I think that my first kiss was in the 3rd grade but I don't really remember it so I am going to have to say it was boring, therefore, it must have been like a Ferris Wheel...........

    ReplyDelete
  37. rides usually make me sick, but my first kiss with my husband gave me great joy. no comparison. Thanks for the great giveaways.

    ReplyDelete
  38. My first kiss....the TeaCups. It left me spinning. I LOVE this set!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmmm...my first kiss would probably be something like the ferris wheel, nice, but not too eventful. I was in middle school and it was basically a peck, but that still counts. Loving the new set sneaks! I can't wait to see what it all looks like!

    ReplyDelete
  40. My first kiss with my now Hubby (b/c my first REAL kiss I've repressed and never want to speak about again) would have been like the GRAVITRON, because it gave me that feeling in my stomach like when you go over a hill too fast!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am LOVING this set, and find myself saying, "Hot dog, hot dog, hot DIGGITY dog!" (Any other Moms out there with children who enjoy the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse can relate...) :)

Some clever, clever post-ers out there with funny first kiss metaphors... I am going to chime in with Jackie and say ferris wheel -- nice, but not too eventful...

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Mine would be the Drop Zone (that is what it is called here in VA at Kings Dominion) It is one of those rides that take you way up high and then drop you--like free falling!! Your stomach drops and it takes your breath away--my first kiss!! Any by the way your cards are fantastic--especially love that pink and brown one!

    ReplyDelete
  43. My first kiss ever could be compaired to a ride on the flying swings. Swept me off my feet and I was flying high afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I guess my first kiss would have been like a Carousel - very safe and sweet. 'Course that was a long time before hubby who has taken me on all kinds of roller coaster rides!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Love this new release... I guess my first kiss would be described like a ride on a rollercoaster.

    ReplyDelete
  46. amusement park ride? What a great question. I think that it would have to be the Merry Go Round as it made me feel dizzy!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I just love this heart set. I guess the ride that comes to mind is the Tilt-A-Whirl.

    ReplyDelete
  48. My first kiss was too long ago; how about I focus on my first kiss with my hubby? Now that was like a ride on the lazy river; slow, sweet and perfect.

    :D

LOVE this set; can't wait to see all the sentiments!

    ReplyDelete
  49. My first kiss-Tea Cups
Sweet, classic and a ride that I would love to go on again and again
My fist kiss was also with my DH.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh no - I like to think of my first kiss as one that happened later in life, but my first official kiss was most likely a "Drop of Doom" because it was not what I'd expected. HAHA

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm not much of an amusement park fan, so I'm going back SEVERAL years to Six Flags and the ride was Tom Twister (?) - the kind that spins around and pins you to the wall with the centrifugal force, then it stops and you're so dizzy you can't walk straight. some kiss, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  52. My first kiss? Kind of like the "flume" water ride! There's so much anticipation and build up to the big event and then WHAM, it's over and you're soaked in all kinds of emotions!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'd have to describe it as feeling like I did when I was a little girl riding on that Disney Land teacup ride, the Mad Hatter. I remember my heart beating faster & faster, then becoming very dizzy and light headed. Good times!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I don't remember my first real kiss, but I vividly remember my first kiss to my now husband. I would equate that kiss with teh Demon Drop or similar ride...the major butterflies in your stomach as you go up and then you drop and loose your ability to stand and then you are giddy from the rush at the end. Yeah that is about it!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'll never forget my first "real" kiss. I wasn't expecting some tongue and immediately spit it back out. I think that could be compared to a bungee jump at an amusement park. It was thrust out with a force to be reckoned with, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I am just loving these sneek peaks!

I would have to say the roller coaster.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Haha - my first kiss was at a "kissing party" in grade five. You know, the kind of party where you play Spin the Bottle? So the bottle pointed to me and a boy named Dave. We kissed, and it was...well, I'm going to pick the Teacups ride from Disneyland. Does that give you an idea? ;) It was a little childish peck on the lips!

  58. Lisa (crazycatstamper)January 8, 2009 at 1:59 PM

Any REALLY good rollercoaster would do. Something with an AWESOME initial drop (which all GOOD coasters need to give you the speed!).

    ReplyDelete
  59. My first kiss must have been uneventful as I can't remember it. I do remember a few boys I would have LIKED to kiss, but obviously the first one didn't cut it, thus it must have been the "House of Horrors" for me LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Beautiful card ladies!!
I can't remember my first kiss, but my first kiss with my husband was like a roller coaster. My heart was beating very fast, I was filled with anticipation and my stomach in knots.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I can't remember what I felt when my first kiss happened, but the first time my husband kissed me ... that was like the target practicing booth - it was a direct hit!
    Bye, Kitty

    ReplyDelete
  62. Fabulous cards and though I thought I had enough hearts to last a lifetime, these are awfully tempting! Ok, the only first kiss I remember is with my hubby. After our first official date, I was in the little borrowed sports car and getting ready to back out of the uphill driveway. Since it was a stick shift transmission, I guess I had my foot on the gas. Let's say that the neighbors might have heard the kiss when my foot revved the engine (how was I supposed to know he was going to want to a kiss?) Anyway, I made it home w/o crashing into anything and was in lala land...so my amusement ride was probably something in Fantasy Land -- ahhhhhh...so dreamy! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  63. OMGosh I love that set and I'm not even a huge of fan of hearts & stuff,,, but as always Verve has beautiful sentiments and the hearts are pretty & non-traditional. :) Can't wait to see the whole thing!!
Hmmm, regarding the first kiss thing.. gosh I'm not sure I can come up with a ride... it was kind of a bummer cuz it was very anticlimactic... so maybe it was like The Edge... all this build up, then slam, done! LOLOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  64. Love the sneak peak!

The first kiss with my hubby... it has to be the tilt-a-whirl... oh the anticipation... would he make my head spin or might I throw-up... sorry but true... fyi...he made my head spin & has been for over 18 years.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Something called the Rainbow. Goes in a circle sideways. Sort of hard to explain, but it drops you're stomach.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Demon Drop.... I felt as if the floor had dropped out from under me and I was floating! I told him it was going to be a trip... and it has been. Thirty years this year.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Goodness... Definitely a roller coaster - ups and downs!

    ReplyDelete
  68. A true old fashioned carousel if you are talking about the first kiss with my husband. No racing around but beautiful memories. Janine

    ReplyDelete
  69. My initial response was rollercoaster so I'll stick to that. :-) Absolutely love this new set, so it would really help me with my budget if I could win it! So many beautiful cards by the team and love the fact that it coordinates with other sets!

    ReplyDelete
  70. What an awesome set...going on my "to buy" list, unless I win it!

    ReplyDelete
  71. The log ride because my stomach dropped just like going down that big drop! :o)

    ReplyDelete
  72. First ever kiss??? I'd have to say the teacups...kind of exciting, but made me want to throw up I was so nervous! LOL.
Would love to win this darling set! Thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  73. My very first kiss was when I was in 8th grade and I would have to say that the amusment ride that best describes it is the tilt-a-whirl b/c I was flying high after that kiss! hee hee! Oh to be young again!
Thanks for the chance to win such a wonderful set! I can't wait for the release party...I am so buying new stamps!!!
    Hugs~ Kim

    ReplyDelete
  74. I am sooo lovin' all of these heart projects! The cards are fabulous and I am so eager to see the all of the sets. Julee, you use such wonderful fonts in your sets! Just can't wait!

The first kiss...the TeaCup ride. I was so dizzy, I thought I was going to be sick.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I'd have to go with a tilt-a-whirl too. My stomach was doing flipflops. In fact, my first kiss was with my husband! No, we are not high school sweethearts. I just only dated one guy before him and be was so shy, he never got up the nerve to kiss me in three months.

    ReplyDelete
  76. sheila (saach47@gmail.com): Ilove the hearts! my first kiss was like a roller coaster

    ReplyDelete
  77. Man...I don't even know....we were sitting under a picnic table hiding....and I didn't know it was coming at all....so maybe Mister Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland - LOL

    ReplyDelete
  78. My first kiss with my husband was like the Hulk ride at Islands of Adventure, it took my breath away.

    ReplyDelete
  79. i am loving these peeks and the hearts - i love the different shapes! great cards, too! i'd have to say the swings because you're flying high from the kiss!

    ReplyDelete
  80. It's got to be the tilt-a-whirl! I was in a whirl-wind! Love the new sets!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Beautiful sneak peeks ladies! My first kiss was like a farris wheel..slowly reaching a high to come back down slowly...very sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Bumper Cars..LOL!! I was in first grade and was being chased by a boy and his buddy blocked my path, when I turned around, smack right on the lips..ewwwwwwww!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. i'm gonna have to say the pirate ship...fun but a little scary and dangerous :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. LOL, great question!!
    Um...a roller coaster!

    ReplyDelete
  85. That's too funny! I love the previews of this stamp set and also this question!

I don't know if this would qualify as a ride but it would be the bumper cars! Because for both of us it was our first kiss, it was exhilarating to do some driving only to stumble quite a few times! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  86. Definitely the ferris wheel!! I felt like I was on top of the world and then I got butterflies in my stomach -- the exact same feeling I get while riding the ferris wheel!! WOO HOO!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  87. What a great sneak peek. Just love this one. I think my first kiss was like the bumper cars. We both turned our head the same way and smacked noses. Ugh. Not too romantic. Thanks for this awesome opportunity..
    Dawn B.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Wow on all the sneak peeks! I'm sooo wanting some of these stamps-I'd be the envy of all my stamping buds-I'm in Oz & some of these stamp sets you girls have immediate access to make me soo jealous! That doggone dollar conversion + waiting the 3 or so weeks postage...I don't know which is worse-probably the waiting! LOL!
Anyhoo back to the question-we don't have as many of the big rides that you have in USA but for me the FIRST kiss was probably a little bumpy like the bumper cars, the FIRST kiss that actually meant the real thing would have to be that smooth, awe-inspiring view, not-at-all scary Ferris wheel! Thanks for the inspiration-not sure if I'm eligible to win being an "outsider"!! but I sure would love it! I'll keep drooling/looking either way!

    ReplyDelete
  89. What a fun question! It would be Space Mountain!! It was dark and I was scared but having fun! I love these hearts and sentiments!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm going to have to go with the bumper cars. It was our first kiss for both of us. LOL

    ncole1701@aol.com

    ReplyDelete
  91. my first kiss wasn't memorable, but the first kiss with my now-husband i would describe by the ride that sucks you up against the side of the wall and the floor drops away! i was so shook by the experience that i had to leave as soon as possible, so as not to be tempted to do more than i should!

this is a great set with great sayings in great fonts, not to mention the hearts! thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I have to say my first kiss was like the bumper cars--quick and clumsy! This is an amazing stamp set and I would love to win it!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Awesome set! I would love to win! I'm embarrassed to say I don't even remember my first kiss! It was so long ago. :) But every kiss with my husband is like the ride where the bottom drops off - catches your breathe!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Way cool set today. The art work is just fabulous. Way way back I was not too smart in the ways of boys so I can't say I even remember that first kiss.

    Thanks much

    ReplyDelete
  95. super cute! yeah, i'm going bumper cars too. it was a first kiss for both of us we has no idea what we were doing.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Oh Lordy... I don't remember what it's called, but it's that one that takes you to the top real slowly, and then the bottom falls out and you free fall back to earth. Man, that was a good kiss! :)

    ReplyDelete
  97. Oh my...my first kiss was like riding the bumper cars, as it was in grade school...LOL What a great set! Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Oh my....the tilt-a-whirl.
Spinning round and round ....and round and round.

    ReplyDelete
  99. So funny. I'd have to say the Scrambler, after we kissed we scrambled apart because people walked in the room LOL

    ReplyDelete
  100. The Tunnel of Love at the old Storytown - before it became a Six Flags park! I wanted him to kiss me but didn't want anyone to know so this ride was perfect!

    Teresa

    ReplyDelete
  101. Love this stamp set! Hmmmm, what amusement park ride....I would compare my first kiss with my now husband to a roller coaster called The Revolution at Libertyland in Memphis, TN (Libertyland is now closed.)...it was my first major roller coaster ride & it had 3 loops, so, like my first kiss with my husband, it was exciting and caused butterflies in my tummy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. I probably missed the deadline already, but my first kiss was like the "Millenium" roller coaster at Cedar Point!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Hmmmmm... I haven't been on a roller coaster ride that didn't scare the bejeebers out of me, so I wouldn't compare my first kiss to one. I'd compare it to something watery, sloshy, and wierd. Is there an amusement ride like that?

    ReplyDelete
  104. I would have to say the whirlee bird or whatever you call it. I was so nervous I thought I was going to puke!! But just like the ride, once it was over, you're just fine!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. The twirling cups. Just when you think you're steady again, you're off in another whirl :D

    ReplyDelete
