Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi friends!  It's time again for another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  This time we're celebrating all things coffee, tea and cocoa with a spring theme.  It's no secret that I am a serious coffee (and tea and cocoa) lover and that I love these blog hops!  There's nothing better than spreading a little crafty coffee cheer throughout the year! I hope you'll play along and link up your own coffee creations for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from the Super Sponsors!
The hop starts today and runs through Friday, March 25 at 11:55 pm pacific. To be eligible for any of the sponsored prizes, you must link up a newly created spring themed coffee, tea &/or cocoa project over on the Spring Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog post. Easy peasy!

I truly LOVE to design coffee, tea, and cocoa sets.  I could probably illustrate coffee stamps all day every day and be happy{wink}! If you've hopped along with our coffee lovers hops before, you might recognize a few of the images and sentiments in our newest Coffee Helps set.  It includes designs from a couple of the limited edition digi sets we offered in the last two hops.  I felt they needed to come to life in stamp form, so here they are, along with a coordinating die set.

And we're giving them a way to one lucky commenter on this blog post!
Coffee HelpsCup for All Seasons Die Set

Just leave a comment here before 11:55 pm on Friday, March 25 to be entered to win
the Coffee Helps set and Cup for All Seasons Die Set.

For today's project, I made some easy peasy little k-cup holders with stamps and dies from our new release.  Don't you think these would make the perfect little thank you or party favor gifts?  To make them I started with a 8" x 1" strip of cardstock and scored at 1", 3", 5" and 7".  I cut two strips of 7/8" x 1-7/8" Perfectly Plaid designer paper to decorate either side.

My sentiment panel is cut with the stitched circle from Springtime Stitches Die Set, then matted on a sun die cut from the Partly Cloudy Die Set. I stamped the sentiment from Coffee Helps on the stitched circle and then layered with dimensionals. Next I stamped the flower to-go cup on white, colored with Copics in coordinating colors and then cut with the Cup for All Seasons Die Set.  So fun and easy I had to make 3 of them! {grin}

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful coffee (and tea and cocoa) lovin' kind of day!

First up in the spotlight today is a brand new coffee themed set called Coffee Helps.

If you've been following Verve for a while, you'll recognize a few sentiments and images from last year's Latte Love and Cup of Kindness digital freebies that have now made it to stamp form.  I've also added some brand new sentiments and images to fill out this all seasons coffee lovers set.

Cup For All Seasons is the coordinating die set for Coffee Helps.  I wanted the three coffee cup dies to be exact cuts (meaning there is no border around the stamped image when cut), so they could be used with or without the coordinating stamps.  However, the seasonal accent pieces (snowflake, holly, flower and leaf) all cut a slight border around the coordinating stamped image.  As an added bonus, if you already have our Get Together stamp set, the cup and saucer die from Cup For All Seasons will also cut the cup and saucer image from that set as well.

Okay, if you're still with me, the hop starts over on my blog, Poetic Artistry! Come say hello!
