July Project Parade~Day 2!

Welcome to day 2 of the fabulous July Project Parade! Amber Here!:) How amazing is Jen's creation? OMG I must make those marshmallow thingies, they look amazing, lol!

Unfortunately, my project is not quite that yummy, ha!
I'm sure most of you know that my husband and I are both active duty in the US Air Force, hooooAH! So American Hero is just my DREAM SET! And this months PP theme is so super fun! Surely we all have a hero in our lives, right? Might not be someone in uniform, but maybe a dad, mom, brother, husband, etc...that you consider YOUR hero!
This month's challenge really stirred something in me; however, I completely forgot that today was MY day to post so I had to make something in a hurry! I hate to do that too, because I really wanted to make this one SUPER special!
I still really love how my card turned out though:)

Isn't that fun???? I got the idea to create a "flag" card and really love how it turned out! The card base is Kraft, the white stripes are Rustic White (PTI), and the red stripes are Riding Hood Red (SU!).
I stamped the stars onto the Enchanted Evening panel and then stickled them up!
Here I stamped the sentiment in Rich Cocoa ink (Momento) and cut out the flag ends.
Of course I had to distress everything on this card because it's Old Glory and she's been through alot:)
