Sunny Sentiments

This month's stamp release has been my favorite yet. There is such a great variety of images (birds, flowers, the cross), and don't forget the mix of elegance and whimsy. No lack of variety there. But despite my excitement for these things floral and feathered, one more important thing about these sets stands out: the sentiments.

Who wouldn't love to receive a card that says "You're Amazing" or "My life is richly blessed by you."? These would be appropriate for a recipient of any age and would bring a little sunshine at any time of year.

I'm sure I squealed aloud when I saw Thankful Blossoms. As I opened the envelope, the first stamp I saw was the "thank you" in all its pretty scripted glory. (If I owe you a thank-you note, by the way, don't be surprised if this is the stamp I use, because it's my favorite "thank you" stamp ever.) I like it so much, I decided to let that stamp take center stage in my card today. Singing backup are some softly stamped pink flowers from the same set and some pastel patterned papers from Fancy Pants.

Supply List:
Stamps:
Thankful Blossoms (Verve Visual)
Paper: Sweet Pea (Fancy Pants); Pearlized White (Verve Visual); Kiwi Crush (Bazzill Smoothies)
Ink: VersaMagic Ocean Depth & Pixie Dust (Tsukineko); ColorBox Chalk Lime Pastel & Rouge (ClearSnap)
Accessories:
Swiss Dots Ribbon (American Crafts)

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for something wonderful from Charmaine!

Happy Stamping!
