I truly LOVE to design coffee, tea, and cocoa sets. I could probably illustrate coffee stamps all day every day and be happy{wink}! To spread a little cheer this holiday season, I've designed a fun little digi set that's available as a limited time free download from Verve through December 25, 2015. It's perfect for your winter themed coffee, tea and cocoa projects! I'd love to see your Verve creations in the linkup!
For my project today, I made another hot cocoa holder like the one I posted yesterday for the A Cup of Kindness inspiration challenge and hop. Here's a picture of them both together.
The base of these sweet holders is just an A2 card base, with a triangle snipped off the top front. I dressed them up using the drippy border stamp from our Chocolate die set. A one inch strip of patterned paper accents the side of the drippy border, then I added coordinating paper as a liner for the inside.
The hot cocoa image from Chocolate is colored with Copic markers and layered on circle dies. I stamped the You Had Me At and the Hot stamps directly on the pumice stone layer, then added the Chocolate Word Die cut in coordinating paper at the bottom. I accented with a bit of seam binding and jingle bells around the candy cane and finished off with some crystal snowflake embellishments.
Such a sweet and easy little gifty for the holidays.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll leave you with one last little thing... a gift code to the Verve store for an extra 15% off your purchase through December 18! Use code COCOA at checkout to receive the discount. Happy blog hopping!
