July 2014 Diva Dare ~ Day 8

Hello there, lovelies! Amber here with Day 8 of the Diva Dare challenge...hope your week is going well so far, half way to the weekend, WOOP WOOP!

Inside Out - July Diva Dare

This month we're daring you to create a stamped card and continue the design on the inside for a special surprise for the recipient.
**Simply carry over some portion of the card front design on to the inside of your card. **

I wanted to do something a little different with my card, and let you SEE the inside FROM the outside!

I got a piece of clear cardstock and created the card base, and then found the patterned paper that I wanted to put on the inside. The papers are from BG's Grand Bazaar (I love this paper!). Next, I cut the turquouise frame and glued it on to the card front, and sewed the corner. I pulled out my beloved Peaceful Medallions stamp set. I cut several of a few different sized circles and then stamped some fun medallions. The big one in the back is embossed in gold, super shiny IRL! The flower is from Happy Place and cut out with one of the dies from Happy Doodles. The sentiment is from Happy Place, and was stamped on a banner cut out with the Scroll die. I used the coordinating scroll stamp from Die Sidekicks for that banner. Here are a couple detail shots...

Two ways to win prizes for double the fun!

Win a $40 gift voucher to Verve! Take our Inside Out dare and link up your card to be eligible to win.  Entries must have an element from the front of your card carried over to the inside, be posted 7/14 or later, include at least one Verve product and be linked up to the linky widget by 8pm Mountain on 7/31/14.  One participant will be randomly selected to win the gift voucher.  You can enter as many times as you like, but each card needs to be in a separate post.

Win a Verve set of your choice! For another chance to win some new Verve, leave a little comment love on our design team's Inside Out Diva Dare posts!  One lucky commenter will win a Verve stamp set of his or her choice, so be sure to tune in each day!  Comment deadline to be entered in our prize drawing is July 31, 2014.

Winners will be announced on August 1, 2014

  13. Amazing card. I was thinking that the background paper kind of reflected the design of the flower. then I saw the flowers were on a clear sheet and the background paper was the inside.
    Great idea and very different.
