Opposites

Opposites - "different in every way". That's the only way to describe my two projects
AND shows the versatility of Verve Visual stamp sets. I'll be using both as a thank you for two different in every way friends. One uses bright, cheerful and blinged patterns, different textures, with so much sparkle and is square shaped AND the other uses soft, soothing, muted colors with a simple rectangle layout (which by the way, is Julee's Mojo Monday this sketch challenge for the week). Take a look...

Card Details: Stamp Set: "Thankful Blossoms" (Verve Visual)
Cardstock: White Select (Papertrey Ink)
Pattern Paper: "Fruit Filled Glitter (K & Co); "Green Polka" (Creative Imaginations); red polka "Ladybug Picnic" (Doodlebug)
Ink: Graphite Black (Brilliance)
Accessories: felt ribbon (K & Co); Copic marker; Dazzling Diamond glitter (SU); dimensionals (SU); Swiss Dot embossing folder (Cuttlebug)

Card Details: Stamp Sets: "Anniversary Birds" & "Thankful Blossoms" (Verve Visual); Flourishes (Autumn Leaves)
Cardstock: Natural White (Classic Crest)
Ink: Burnt Umber (Palette Stewart Superior); Antique Linen (Tim Holtz Distress Ink)
Pattern Paper, Diecuts & Rub-ons: "Blue Hill Collection" (Crate Paper)

I must admit, the first card is a little out of my comfort zone - but I know the recipient will appreciate it being made especially for her. I would say the second card is more my style and within my comfort zone - I do like both!!! I hope you do too. Enjoy and Create, Lila
