Hopping along with us this week are three super talented Special Guests! These gals have some crazy stamping skills! I'm so excited to have them joining us for this release and I just know you're going to love the magic they've created with the new stamps!  I've been a long time follower of Shantaie Fowler, who brings a gorgeous shabby-chic flair to all of her cards.  Amy Tsuruta of Coffee Lovers Bloghop fame has an amazing knack for all things clean and fabulous. And former Verve Diva, Janelle Stollfus brings a refreshingly unique mixed-media/fine art feel to all of her projects.  Be sure to head on over to their blogs today to give them a shout out!

The hop starts over on my blog, Poetic Artistry.

Okay, now that you know the who... it's time for the what.  Today's set reveal is the Get Together set illustrated by me.

For this card, I decided to load up all the smaller mugs and cups from Get Together onto one acrylic block and stamp it repeatedly on Lost Lagoon card stock for a fun DIY background. I sewed this panel on three sides to my polka dot embossed card base to create a little pocket to tuck a couple tea bags in for the recipient.  I added a Smokey Slate Flourished Trim die cut for a little accent, jazzing it up with some silver liquid pearls.  The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut from the Cupcake Frame Die Set, and I layered two of the same die cuts behind, offsetting to make a mat for the sentiment.  Finally, I stamped the striped mug, cutting it out with the coordinating Cuppa Tea Die Set and adding to my sentiment panel.

Here's a little behind the scenes look at this set:  It's no secret that I'm a coffee and tea lover.  Earlier this year when I was designing cards for the Spring Coffee Lovers Hop, I was really wanting a sentiment that would work to invite a friend to coffee (or tea or cocoa).  So the concept for Get Together was born, complete with a mix and match type of sentiment that could be paired with our Coffee Word Die or personalized to the type of drink the recipient likes.  I started designing with a big cup and saucer image, then decorated it with butterflies and vines, including both versions.  The vine cup screamed summer to me, and I've always loved the Summertime song and wanted a sentiment I could use for those no occasion catching up cards in the summer months.

I also heard from a lot of customers how sad they were that our Sip & Savor set had been retired.  So I had the idea to bring back the mug and to go cup from that set, resizing them to fit our Cup of Cheer Die Set, and throwing in some polka dot designs (always a timeless favorite for me) as well.  I also decided to bring in some striped versions of images in the One Cup set to fit our Cuppa Tea Die Set.

Get Together is a 4" x 8" set of  16 clear stamps and will retail for $18.

The Psalm 19:14 Plain Jane is also being featured today.  This verse was included in the now retired Meditations set.  I love this verse and decided to size it down a bit to fit our plain jane packaging and re-release it.

The Psalm 19:14 plain jane will retail for $3.
Psalm 19:14 is paired with the Sunny Days set on this card. Click here to view my original post.
That's all for today!  We'll see you back here tomorrow for another day of hopping!
